SUPER STOCK 4 / SEMI MOD RULES

1.) Rear wheel drive only.

2.) Maximum wheelbase of 104”.

3.) Aftermarket bodies and noses are okay, however must be stock appearing and track approved.

Tail piece is optional.

4.) 3 bars in front of the driver or screen to protect the driver from rocks, debris, etc.

5.) OEM transmission required with all gears in working order.

6.) Optional clutch with steel bell housing or protective shield ¼” thick that goes around top and sides of the bell housing. Multi disc clutch with scatter shield recommended. Gold Star clutches allowed.

7.) Minimum 1 ½” x .095 steel full roll cage. Eight anchor points recommended.

8.) 4 driver door bars, minimum 3 bars in the right door, all major stress points need gussets.

9.) You can reinforce stock chassis as long as you stay within the factory limitations. Full tube chassis are allowed.

10.) Engine must be mounted in stock location, valve cover in front of firewall.

11.) Open shocks allowed in stock angle.

12.) Stock suspension components in stock location in front, top shock mounting point may be relocated.

May modify the stock struts. Homemade adjustable coil-cover okay. Jack screws may be added to others in stock locations.

13.) Rear-end may be changed. 9” is okay. No quick change.

14.) May use a spool or weld rear-end. No limited slip.

15.) Stock type steering components.

16.) Open Tire- Racing tires only.

17.) A single 2”-3” mirror is allowed on the drivers’ side door and one track approved mirror is allowed inside the car. Subject to change at tracks discretion.

18.) Racecievers mandatory. No two-way radios or scanners allowed.

19.) No traction control devices.

20.) Must have at least three (3) working brakes at all times.

21.) Outside “rub rails” allowed on outside of bodies. Ends must be turned in towards the body and not have any sharp edges. May be made out of round or square tubing.

22.) All lead must be securely fastened to the racecar. Lead must be painted white, silver, or another highly visible color. Include the car number on lead as well. Unsecured lead is subject to track inspection, regulation, possible disqualification if deemed unsafe.

23.) Allow fabricated front cross-member.

24.) Mufflers are mandatory.

** Super Stock // Safety rules**

1.) Window nets are mandatory. Sprint-style window nets will not be permitted. Good quality full face racing helmets or DOT approved helmets are required.

2.) Minimum single-layer fire suit required. (SA 3.2A specification recommended)

3.) Fire proof gloves are strongly recommended. (SFI 3.3 specification recommended)

4.) A 4 or 5 point harness, properly mounted per manufacturers’ specifications, is required.

5.) Belts must have been manufactured in the last 5 years. Any worn, abraded or torn belts must be replaced.

6.) A 5 lb. (or greater) fire extinguisher should be securely mounted within the drivers’ reach.

7.) Only racing-type seats, properly mounted per manufacturers’ specifications, are allowed.

8.) A head-and-neck restraint system is mandatory (SFI 16.1 compliant recommended).

9.) A firewall must be in place between the driver compartment and fuel cells, fuel lines, or tanks.

10.) Safety chains must remain securely fastened on the front and rear of the racecar at all times.

11.) Any time a car is on the track all safety gear is required.

12.) Must have a fire extinguisher and seat belts that are up to date. Fire suppression is recommended.

13.) Anytime a car is on the track all safety gear is required.

14.) Race receivers are mandatory.

15.) No radios allowed.

24.) Fire extinguisher in car is mandatory

25.) Any time a car is on the track all safety gear is required.

** Super Stock // Engine Rules **

1.) Car must weigh 11b/cc after the race.

2.) Open motor rule

3.) Any pistons, any rods.

Safety chains must remain securely fastened on the front and rear of the car at all times or you will be immediately disqualified.

Competitors must present cars for inspection prior to participating in any racing event. A pre-race inspection will be made ONLY to ensure safety protocols have been adhered to. Questions of legality can and will be answered during the pre-race inspection if asked by an entrant. No guarantee of legality shall be expressed or implied during pre-race inspection. Legality will be determined in post-race inspection. Fairgrounds Raceway has final ruling on all questions of legality.

Fairgrounds Raceway officials have every right to change the rules if deemed necessary at any point during the season. Officials may be open to changing rules if it is best for the majority of the class.
